ABOUT STANLEY/STELLA:
Stanley/Stella does not use any conventional cotton. Our garments are made from 100% organic cotton.
Organic cotton is a natural fiber, GMO-free and uses much less water than conventional cotton. And most importantly, no chemicals (neither artificial fertilizers nor pesticides) are used in its production, but crop rotation is encouraged to keep the soil healthier, more fertile and moist. The waste from picking cotton is reused in the animal feed industry.
STANLEY/STELLA IS A GOTS-CERTIFIED MANUFACTURER
FOUR LETTERS THAT CHANGE EVERYTHING GOTS is the acronym for the Global Organic Textile Standard. The strictest certification for textiles made from organic fibers. It follows the entire production chain from the cotton fields: from harvesting to the production of the fibers, to sewing the pieces together, to the final product before printing and even to the export of our clothes! It certifies that Stanley/Stella cotton is grown without genetic engineering or chemicals and is processed and dyed without prohibited toxins. GOTS also ensures compliance with the social standards of the International Labor Organization along the entire production chain.
Vegan certified
This means that we do not conduct or commission animal testing of ingredients, formulas or finished products and promise never to do so. In addition, our clothing is made from Made from 100% vegan materials , so you can rest assured that no one was harmed during their production.

It is made from 100% recycled post-consumer PET bottles and has passed all industry standard quality tests. Coloreel embroidery thread offers the same fastness properties as pure polyester thread.
